Belleville: Downtown West

I’ve got about as much gas in my car tank as I do in my creative one, but yesterday my husband took me for a nice stroll around downtown on the west side of the fountain. I’ve been saying I’ve wanted to get some shots down there for several weeks, and was able to do a walk around the block before the humidity made another swing. As our region’s most famous songbird reminds us, it’s getting hot in here.

I was so adamant about moving to Belleville years ago because I saw so much potential. I still do, and as more pockets of fresh air get breathed into this district, I hope to see more and more happening.

Here’s 18 shots from our stroll downtown, on the West end of the fountain. Enjoy!
